Scootaloo has made her peace with not being able to fly, and she's never let that stop her or hold her back. Even so, a part of still has that secret desire to see the world that only flight can see.
By chance, on one particular birthday, Scootaloo is given a pair of prosthetic wings as a present from Rainbow Dash. It's a gift that the filly initially isn't really on board with, she thinks it's unnecessary.
However, when Rainbow challenges Scootaloo to a flying race, Scootaloo decides to give the new wings a chance. In doing so, she may discover more about herself than she initially thought.
