Hello and welcome to Faith and Famous the Podcast! Join your host Alan Shires as he interviews actor, director, writer and producer Justen Overlander, whose projects include TV show The Chosen, The Shift, and I Can to name a few!
Join us as Justen shares his journey, and we discuss the need for films and TV to highlight the struggles that people face in the world. Justen explains that there is a fine line between portrayal and promotion, but in portrayal comes the ability to glorify God by also highlighting the redemtion that is given by our Lord! Justen also shares with us about his new up-and-coming project 'The Shift', an exciting new feature film to be made, a sci-fi, but in a new way! (Check this out here!).
