Welcome to Episode 40-The Butcher Baker Part 2. In this episode I unpack the last moments of Sherry Morrows life through the Lense of her friend Susan. Susan encountered the Butcher Baker one day when he stumbled upon the Wild Cherry where she and her friend Sherry Morrow worked at. Susan meets the man who she immediately got a bad feeling about the man. The man tried to charm Susan by telling her he had a plane. He told her he would love to take her out on a date. Susan was less than impressed and declined the offer. Sherry Morrow met the same stranger who thought he offered her a solution to the life she so desperately wanted to escape from. Unfortunatley for her things would deteriorate. Cindy Paulson on June 13th, 1983. Gregg Baker, an officer for the anchorage department, is on patrol with a new member of the squad named Wayne Vance. He says they got a call from dispatch at 4:00am that there was a white female running down 5th ave naked with handcuffs. A Samaritan who was on his way to work who saw her gave her ride. She looked distraught. She does not immediately go to the police but asks the driver to drop her off at the Woods Motel. Officers approached the hotel room with caution because they did not want to scare Cindy, but they wanted to find the underlying cause of what was going on with her. Baker and officer Vance approach the room where Cindy was hiding, and they remove the handcuffs from her. They described her as not only being distraught, but she was hysterical. It took them a while to calm her down. Officers have no idea that Cindy will be the answer key to knowing the monster behind the bodies that were loitering in the Alaska wilderness. We introduce Sgt.
