Judges 7:1-22 …a defeat of an enemy

Voluntarily submit to every change God wants to make in my life and humbly ask Him to remove my character defects. "Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires." (Matthew 5:6)
Step 7: Were entirely ready to have God remove our character defects and humbly ask Him to do so.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
V (Judges 6:25-32) Voluntarily Submit - We humbly ask God to remove our shortcomings.
I (Judges 7:10-12) Identify Character Defects - Identify what we want to work on first, those that are causing the most pain.
C (Judges 7:10-12) Change Your Mind - Allow God to transform us by renewing our minds.
T (Judges 7:13-15) Turn over character defects - Give up relying on my own willpower that blocks my recovery.
O (Judges 7:19-23) One day at a time - Our lifelong hurts, habits and hang-ups need to be worked on in 24-hour increments.
R (Judges 7:1-23) Recovery is a process - We begin a journey that will lead us to a new freedom from our past.
Y (Judges 6:10-12) You must choose to change - Ask for help to change our hurts, habits and hang-ups requires humility.
