Welcome to today's episode of Queerly Popular. Today, we're going to talk about the 2022 book Never Been Kissed by Timothy Janovsky. It's a lovely book about Wren Roland, a young man who has never been kissed, and his feelings for his friend (and almost kiss) Derick Haverford. The book is about their relationship and how they try and save a local landmark from Derick's dad.
I love this book and highly recommend that you read it if you like queer romances like I do. I really appreciate the way Janovsky explores coming out in different ways.
Our next episode, on April 4, will be about the book The Charm Offensive by Alison Cochrun.
As a bonus, here's a link to a clip from the movie I Wish You All the Best. It is being screened at SXSW this week and I really hope it gets picked up for distribution so that we can watch it.
