We are talking about all things confirmation bias today, and while you might think that you already understand this topic, this podcast episode will likely help you see it in a different way.
Confirmation bias is our brain's natural tendency to recall or interpret new information in a way that confirms our already existing beliefs. We tend to see it as a character flaw, but when we do that, we don't learn from it. The more we understand it, the better chance we have of using it to better ourselves.
Beliefs are thoughts that we have been thinking repeatedly, and they are what ultimately cause confirmation bias. There are ways to use confirmation bias to our advantage, though, so tune in as I walk you through how to work on that. It's so worth it.
