May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time where the focus is on raising awareness, providing support, educating the public, and advocating for change for the millions of people who suffer from mental illness and mental health disorders. So much great work has been done already to change the stigma around mental health and bring the conversation to the national spotlight. As you know, I started this podcast and my business, Mental Health Capsule, because I'm passionate about being a voice in this amazing community and having the tough conversations that many may not want to have. Talking about our vulnerabilities and sharing our experiences help others grow and learn. We want to show that it's okay to speak out, to say that something is not right, and most of all, to ask for help.
