Sgt. DeAndrea has responded to three school shootings in Colorado, including Columbine High School and Platte Canyon High School. He was joined by John-Michael Keyes, parent of a Platte Canyon High School student. They presented their riveting account of the day Mr. Keyes lost his daughter, Emily. Mr. Keyes and his wife, Ellen founded the I Love U Guys Foundation to restore and protect the joy of youth through educational programs and positive actions in collaboration with families, schools, communities, and organizations.
