I'm delighted to share a recording of a panel discussion I hosted recently at Risk Awareness Week 2022. This is an annual event bringing together the best minds on risk to spread insights and, as its name suggests, raise awareness.
In this panel discussion, we will seek to enrol the audience into the benefits of a more proactive approach towards managing safety risks.
On the panel are Crystal Danbury (Director of Group Safety & Insurance at Sainsbury's), Diane Chadwick-Jones (former Director of Human Performance at bp), Gemma Arnold (Head of Health and Safety at Virgin Active UK) and myself (founder of Slip Safety Services and host of the Safety And Risk Success Podcast).
They will address questions including: What do boards feel about safety and why? What stops companies taking a more proactive approach to managing safety risks? How has the panel succeeded in driving a more proactive approach? What were the key outcomes and benefits of this work?
