After being an at home parent to her 3 precious children for 8 years, she became a licensed massage therapist receiving her education from Ke Kino Institute of Healing in Plano, TX. She has received specialized training in the art of grief massage, holding space for pregnancy loss and trauma-informed touch through The Institute for Grief Massage Inc, The Institute for the Study of Birth, Breath and Death and Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (respectively). She has spent many hours volunteering in the foster care system and at domestic violence shelters, coaching youth sports and mentoring high school students in under-served communities.
