Today, people in Montana know Bob Powell and Nick Alonzo as the owners of Hoagieville and the Montana Club restaurants across the state. But back in the 1970's, they were two fine baseball players in the Mavericks program. Bob and Nick recall their days playing for the Mavs, as well as their earlier experiences in 1971 competing on a Mount Sentinel All Star team with an 11 year old teammate who would later go on to win two Superbowls as quarterback for the Denver Broncos. Besides reviewing their baseball glory days, the two former Mavericks discuss their efforts as owners of two iconic Montana businesses, and what might be next for them as entrepreneurs.
