There is a spiritual battle going on for the minds and hearts of our children. A vision for God's heart must be cast and leaders must be multiplied before our kids' foundation has crumbled to the culture at large. There is a critical need to raise up and equip leaders to disciple children in ways that work best for them. The Hills Kids Ministry is investing in all of our kids leaders being equipped and activated in KIDStory--an effective teaching strategy to reach kids in all cultures and circumstances with the good news of Jesus and His story. KIDStory Global Director Gary Strudler explains more about KIDStory. Gary will be providing an immersive equipping experience for all current and potential kids ministry leaders and volunteers in June.
The Hills Church is happy to host a KIDStory workshop on July 14, 15, and 16th! KIDStory workshops are critical to raise up and equip leaders to disciple children in ways that work best for them. At these workshops you can expect to learn:
*Teaching skills that bring the stories of the Bible to life
*Fun, interactive ways to hear, learn and retell God's word to include: games, music, art, and drama
*Proven ways to facilitate discussions that provide a place where the Holy Spirit can penetrate children's hearts rather than giving pat, predictable answers
*How to create learning environments where children become active participants in God's redemptive story instead of just distant observers
