The Culture of Narcissism: This book is an examination of the way culture, empowered by technologies, is making us more narcissistic, looking to the world to fit our own self-narrative rather than the other way around. While I don't agree wholesale, I think this is a great book to use to reflect upon the changes in how we view ourselves since the advent of modernity
