Description

The city of Jerusalem was destroyed (for the first time) in 587/586 BC by the Babylonians. As a result of the siege and fire, there is a lot of archaeological evidence that has been discovered in that destruction layer.

Henry Smith discusses some of this evidence with Dr. Todd Bolen, professor of Biblical Studies at Masters University.
