Married with a wonderful family, including two teenage girls and a lively two-year-and-six-month-old boy, I've called Ireland home for nearly 18 years. Armed with a master's degree in clinical psychology and another in computer science, my wife and I navigated a unique career path in Ireland. Initially, we worked odd jobs—construction for me and a shop counter for her. Education became our bridge to career change, with me completing computer science and her transitioning to become a head of accounts. In 2014, my entrepreneurial journey truly began with the launch of the Eckomarket platform, evolving into the current UTender.ie.
In 2015, an idea emerged during a chat, leading to the birth of the Bid Wars project. Despite setbacks, including personal hardships and a temporary pause, the vision persisted. In 2018, facing new challenges, my wife and I invested in education and ventured into a cleaning contract. This marked the beginning of ALOHA Mental Arithmetic, a program teaching kids valuable skills.
The journey continued in 2019 with Service Wars evolving into UTender. By 2020, UTender V1 was launched, and in 2021, the platform went live in Ireland, the UK, and Romania. Amid ups and downs, 2022 brought a near-death experience with a server crash, leading to a bold decision to rebuild UTender from scratch. In 2023, UTender emerged stronger, ready to explore new horizons.
Currently, as the founder and CEO of UTender.ie and Whatswhat.ie, my mission is to shape UTender into a global lead generation platform while supporting businesses through Whatswhat.ie in navigating the modern business landscape. The journey is ongoing, and the goal is to unlock new possibilities for businesses worldwide.
