Because of all the carbohydrates you're eating, you have more glucose in your bloodstream.

When you combine glucose with a molecule, that's called glycation.

A recent discovery found that the inner lining of all your blood vessels has a velvet lining called a glycocalyx.

Researchers discovered that when you eat a high-carb meal, the insulin tears your arterial walls and starts tearing up the glycocalyx six hours afterwards.

Subcutaneous fat cells prodice inflammatory mediators, so the more fat you have, the more inflammation you carry in your body.
