This month, Dr. Lawrence welcomes Dr. Christy Lao, an Associate Professor of
Education at San Francisco State University who has been actively involved in
Chinese bilingual education for the past 20 years. Dr. Lao has provided
professional development in Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) to Chinese
bilingual teachers in the U.S. and many parts of the world, focusing on Chinese
literacy development. Follow along as Dr. Lawrence and Dr. Lao discuss the
