Carrie holds a Master of Science focused in Gerontology and has over a decade of experience in dementia care. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Montessori Dementia Care Professional. Through her platform, Dementia Darling, founded in 2019, Carrie provides a safe space for dementia caregivers, offering education, resources, and encouragement. Her mission is to enhance quality of life, encourage joy, and challenge the tragedy narrative around dementia and aging.

Carrie co-hosts the podcast "Gather Darlings" with Nicole Will, focusing on real, unfiltered conversations about caregiving. The podcast provides support, resources, and community for caregivers.
