When the Enterprise finds yet another planet being run by a computer, our heroes must once again debate the merits of freeing a population who appears stagnant by human standards against the merits of allowing a culture to make their own choices and develop as they see fit. It’s the episode that asks, “What would happen if we destroyed this people’s god?” but never answers it.
