Systems are a gift. That is my top takeaway from my interview with Tanya Smith. And I'd never really thought of it that way. I kind of always looked at systems a little bit like the enemy. As I've launched this podcast, I have seen what a gift systems are. Once they are established there's no thought we have to put into it, there's no decisions we have to make, we know how it gets done and when it has to get done by. And we are able to automate more and more as we are discovering new tools that allow us to get it done even quicker. One of the benefits that Tanya gets by having systems in place is that she gets to make one of three choices with something as it comes in. She can either take action, automate the task or delegate it.
