I used to be the person to hold onto grudges for forever; it felt GOOD to be in control of.
But when I look back now at all that I held on to, I see how upset I was allowing myself to be and the damage it truly did.
When we hold onto things in our past, the only person it affects is ourselves. Not our partners, our parents, our friends…
So, when we get emotionally involved with these negative ideas, why are we choosing to put ourselves through so much pain?
Why are we choosing to live in the past that we can't change, and keeping ourselves from moving forward?
