Over the course of her burgeoning career, Johnson has spent five years at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, including most recently as the Seeking Justice reporter, and served as the Vice President of the Fort Worth News Guild. In the interview, Johnson answers questions about what newsrooms lose under corporate ownership, why local news is still important, and what burnout looks like for journalists.
