A Remembrance of a Legend — Kyle Busch
Hello everyone… this is not an easy episode to write.
Just days ago, we saw Kyle at the track — and now, unbelievably, we are here remembering his life and legacy. It still doesn't feel real. It still feels like he should be pulling into the garage, strapping in, and getting ready to compete.
At just 41 years old, the sport has lost one of its most iconic and larger-than-life figures.
Over the past few days, so many across the racing world have shared their stories — moments that show just how much Kyle meant to this sport, both on and off the track. It's impossible to fully capture everything he was, but on this episode of Splash of Gas, we do our best to honor a truly legendary career.
Before anything else, our thoughts and prayers are with his family — his wife Samantha, his children Brexton and Lennox, his brother Kurt, his parents, extended family, Richard Childress Racing, and the entire NASCAR community.
On this special remembrance episode, we look back on:
Kyle's incredible career and impact on the sport
Personal stories and reflections from around the garage
Memories shared by Jake Garcia and Daniel Suárez
A racer, a competitor, a personality — and a name that will forever be part of NASCAR history.
Rest in peace, Kyle.
