Description

This week Mike is joined by Alex Stanczyk, the Host of Café Bitcoin and Managing Director at Swan Private. Alex also is one of the five veterans on the Bitcoin Veterans Podcast.

Alex shares his story of growing up in Miami and how he ended up enlisting in the Navy after dropping out of high school and thinking all hope of service was lost. After the Navy Alex had a successful career in IT before deciding to leave America for Panama to spend time relaxing on the beach. In less than two months he realized the beach life was getting old and wanted to start working on something new. This led him to creating a precious metals fund and eventually a gold fund after meeting people in the industry. He knew there was something wrong with the world’s economic system, but never could really explain it until he started learning about gold’s value. Alex then talks about how he learned about Bitcoin and eventually came to the realization that Bitcoin was a better investment than gold.
