Season III, 2 - Episode 19:
We are thinking about identity politics. There are many ways of expressing an identity. Very often it is done through separation, by segregating yourself from a norm in society. We are searching for a form of identity, which does not use separation as a tool, but identities with an open mind and inclusive of others. During this journey we will revisit Art Joburg and an artist using the pronoun THEY, but also the architecture of Oodi Library in central Helsinki plays an important role. The structure of the show will be Morten Ranum reading an essay about his own identity – he himself is also a warrior of identity politics, although he calls it something else. He will be interrupted by inserts from exhibitions and clarifications.
