As everyone is doing this comparison between 2016 and 2026, I am brining an entry from 2016 to see how far I've come and how much remains the same. The parallels to right now are on point as this one is all about the power of confidence combined with focus and assignment.
As we face a time in history that is requiring us to stand up, speak up and back up what we say we believe. This could not be more on time!
Themes:
Confidence or the pursuit of it, the story of my life, although people never think that is something I've had to work on.
Focus. As we compare 2016 to 2026 how was our focus then vs. now? What were you focused on then? What did the world seem to be focused on and did that past seem like it would lead to the future we are currently living in?
Pivotal points in our lives. For me, there are so many and I'm so grateful for the real-time assessment and harnessing of the power in these times of my life. The question is what am I going to do with it this time? What are you going to do with yours, because whether you think so or not, this is a pivotal time for you as well.
Nice vs mean; growth, and villain era. . . really, I'm just Willamina Slater (IYKYK) in some areas and that's because brilliance can't slow for much, certainly not for mediocrity that will eventually get it one day.
Part of being a Queen is growing into your royalty and reigning in your sovereignty.
