The brain has one major goal.. to Keep Us Alive.
And so when the brain detects a threat to our survival, it enacts the flight or fight response in an attempt to try to keep us safe.
But the problem is that what the brain perceives as danger can actually be very beneficial for us.
Leaving our comfort zone enacts that response. And we all know that staying inside of our comfort zone is not going to lead to change.
