Helping people and their families with money and improving their financial future for the better is powerful work. In today’s episode, Kevin Moore shares his story of initially pursuing a career in the film and TV industry, but pivoted to something completely different. Kevin is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a member of the Financial Planning Association. He joined the family business that his father started over 40 years ago, and is now a co-owner and operator of the financial planning firm.
Kevin wanted a rewarding career that would allow him to help more people in all walks of life, and that’s exactly what he’s been able to do as a financial planner. Money is such an emotional piece in our lives, but the clarity and peace people can gain from getting help with their finances is incredible. He aims to keep the process as simple as possible for his clients, no matter their money mindset or background. He also strives for a healthy work-life balance with his family, career, and volunteering. Kevin believes that following good people who are doing good work will thrive, and ultimately, be able to accomplish anything.

“Money across the board is a very emotional and personal thing for people. It fascinates me to see what motivates people and what goals people aspire to. Being able to help someone track that or, or bring it all together to help it make sense, help set goals, and then achieve goals, is incredibly rewarding personally. It just gives me an opportunity to be a people person and have conversations that really are very personal to people, because they deal with it on a day-to-day basis.”
