- 90 percent of what we practice is habitual – Almost everything we do is based on repetition. We different variations of the same thing every day. Over time our life becomes what we practice
- We get good at anything we practice: Including NOT practicing – The repetitive nature of programing is how we get good ad killing ourselves. Or, rewarding yourself. Practicing NOT moving is a skill and not a skill we want.
- Not all habits are healthy and most times we don't even know it – Just because we are thinking healthy thoughts, that doesn't mean we are becoming healthy. Many things we do are bad because we practiced ignoring the truth out them.
- Not doing something bad, isn't doing something good for ourselves – Not drinking alcohol isn't the same as drinking more water. We've got to look at what we're practicing daily to determine if it's healthy for us.
- Developing one healthy habit does not replace a bad one – Adding one new habit doesn't outweigh the daily trauma cased by drinking alcohol. It's all about how we think about those habits and continue creating better ones.
