Description

This week, Lindsay & Lauren talk with Troy Jackson, a clinical social worker and yoga instructor from the Philadelphia area, about the evolution of his identity. Troy grew from a sensitive and likely neurodivergent young kid to a gregarious college student to a sober yoga teacher and therapist. We hear about how low self-esteem made Troy the perfect candidate for substance use disorder, how he used yoga to support his path to sobriety, and how he questioned his identity as a graduate student. Troy has learned to feel comfortable with not knowing all the answers and with his ever-evolving sense of self.
