In the hot seat today is David 'Big D' Bracale as four European superpowers kick off their campaigns (namely Croatia, Germany, Spain and Belgium) with very mixed results.
Belgium laboured to a win over Canada, Croatia looked relieved to secure a scoreless draw with Morocco whilst Germany were upstaged by Japan and Spain steamrolled Costa Rica.
We also take a quick look at the evolution of the squads over the past 3 or 4 World Cup's and a couple of features of the broadcast which could get tiresome after a month.
