Today we wrap up Australia’s briefly tantalising - but ultimately debilitating - tournament bow against France and a monumental upset of tournament favourites Argentina by Saudi Arabia.
The other 2 games featured no goals but plenty of action with Denmark confronting an extremely partisan crowd against Tunisia and a similar scenario for Poland facing Mexico, with a missed penalty costing the Europeans a major chance to seize the ascendancy in Group C.
Special guest Cameron Jansen also gives his early grade on the broadcaster in Australia, SBS, and the tournament kits and we look ahead to the 4th matchday which features European heavyweights Croatia, Germany, Spain and Belgium entering the championships in consecutive matches.
