On this episode, we talk with Joanne Docherty, Founder of Starra Education. After overcoming traumatic life experiences as a child, Joanne went on to graduate from the University of Glasgow with an Honours Degree in Education and carried with her studies, completing her MSc in Child Psychology.
Today we discuss the path that led Joanne to where she is today. We talk about the stigma of Mental Health and how we all have an active role in changing perceptions of people with mental health diagnoses. Society is too quick to label.
