Bury your gays? Not in this house!

Welcome to the Silver Scream, a podcast where two friends try to find some good werewolf movies. This week we are talking about the 2023 queer indie-horror, "My Animal" directed by Jacqueline Castel. This film stars two powerhouse nonbinary actors in a sapphic hazy daydream turned nightmare. Heather is a talented hockey player and closeted werewolf, her lonely life gets turned upon meeting Jonine, a beautiful figure skater. The two form a bond that is challenged by the world around them. Join us in celebrating a proudly queer story where the lesbians get to live! Yay!

Other topics of discussion include: Alyssa watched Fire Walk with Me (1992), Courtney watched A Different Man (2024), we both watched The Substance, and more!
