Hey y'all! We're back with another episode of "I Have Given My Answer," and this week, we're doing something a little different. We're pivoting to focus on our Black women Marvel fans, and we're talking about the one and only Monica Rambeau.
Now, I know what you're thinking: "Monica? Who's that?" But Monica is a badass superhero who's been around since the 70s. She's also a Black woman, and she's someone that we can all relate to.
In this episode, we're talking about Monica's grief over the loss of her mother, Maria Rambeau, and how this grief has shaped her character. We're also talking about how Monica's grief has helped her to connect with Wanda, who is also grieving the loss of her loved ones.
And we're not just talking about Monica's grief. We're also talking about how Black women can use their grief to care for themselves and others. We know that Black women are often overlooked and undervalued, but we want to remind you that you are not alone. Your grief is valid, and you deserve to be cared for.
So, if you're a Black woman who's grieving, please know that you're not alone. We're here for you. And if you're not a Black woman, we hope that you'll learn something from this episode. We all need to be there for each other, especially during times of grief.
Take care of yourselves, y'all.
