The death of 14 year old Reena Virk in 1997 sent shockwaves across Canada and had people questioning everything they thought they knew about bullying and teenage violence. Reena's story is still very much prevalent today in anti-bullying discussions, and her parents both dedicated their lives to ensuring nothing like this happened again.
