Welcome to DocuJune! In 1988 Errol Morris released The Thin Blue Line, which tells the story of Randall Adams, a man convicted of the crime of murder. With eyewitness testimony the case was closed, but Morris's investigation proved there was much, much more to the story than what was laid out in court. To start our series on documentaries we go to the film that changed how documentaries were made, and changed one man's life forever. We discuss anti-verite, the evolution of true crime media, hiring a hypnotist, lower thirds and how Seth is susceptible to whatever a documentary tells him.
Discussion on The Thin Blue Line begins at 13:48
