Paris Call for Trust and Security in Cyberspace was launched at the Paris Peace Forum in 2018. The meeting led to the creation of 9 principles, ratified by 81 nations. The 9 principles are: 1) protect individuals and infrastructure of the state; 2) protect the internet; 3) defend elections and electoral processes; 4) defend intellectual property; 5) non-proliferation of malware; 6)lifecycle and supply chain cybersecurity; 7)cyberhygiene; 8) no private hack-back or retaliation; 9)adoption of international norms. The Paris Call is to highlight the importance of cybersecurity.
