Sergeant Brandon Harris of the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources is kind of enough to share his time with Mike and Shawn. In part 1 of the interview, Sgt Harris begins by talking about his background and education that led him to become a Conservation Police Officer (CPO). He talks about the VA DWR mission statement to Conserve, Connect & Protect and he describes a "day in the life" of a CPO. A few funny stories are shared before discussing the more serious topics of safe interactions with a CPO, common infractions and new regulations going into effect.
