Description

In today's podcast episode, Dr. Cheryl Hardy encourages us to be mindful of the words we say to people. There are things we think are okay to say because they have been said so many times throughout life.

Sometimes, the words that many people use are so cold and harsh, while the emotional struggle is real.

Telling a person to get over it can be hurtful.

There will be a time when people will be able to move forward. It is important to let people move at a pace that is healthy for them without rushing them through the process of the hurt.  Healing takes time, and it may take longer than we expect. Of course, we believe in miracles, but suppose the miracle of the situation of anxiety and depression takes a year to heal. That’s really ok.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with moving slowly in some cases.

Anxiety and Depression are not relieved overnight. Time is needed, prayer is necessary, and grace is always in order.

Let's not overload our minds. Move at a God pace. Rest and learn more about you.
