Have you ever felt like you were finally gaining momentum—your business is growing, your rhythms are aligned, and you can almost see the fruit of your faithfulness… and then suddenly, God hits the brakes?
In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on a recent season where everything was clicking—mastermind thriving, membership growing, book deal signed, gym routine on point—and then… slow down. Big time. And it made me ask, “Why, God? What are You doing?”
If you’re in a season where life feels paused, delayed, or derailed, this one’s for you. I'm walking you through 3 powerful reasons God might be slowing you down—and how each one is an invitation to trust deeper, listen closer, and lean into His better plan.
📖 Scripture Anchor: Romans 8:28
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Protection — Sometimes He makes you lie down (Psalm 23:2) because He knows what you don’t. Rest isn’t punishment—it’s provision.
Perseverance — The waiting is not wasted. It’s developing grit, trust, and total dependence on Him. (Habakkuk 2:3)
Pivot — When He slows you down, it may be to speak something new. Pay attention. He’s often redirecting your next step.
🎧 If you're feeling discouraged or confused about your current pace, you'll leave this episode with renewed peace and purpose.
☁️ Surrender your pace—take a deep breath and trust that His is better.
❓ Stop asking “Why?” and start asking “What are You doing in me?”
👂 Practice listening—what has God been whispering again and again?
