Today's episode is all about my former students. The very first class I taught 10 years ago in Thailand just graduated high school, so I was inspired to reflect on my years in the classroom. I share my favorite funny stories and talk about how much joy I experienced in the classroom.
I also talk about difficult events that affected my first class in Mexico, like the death of a student, femicide, and co-vid. I share the struggles and frustration I had during Co-vid, which eventually led to my resignation.
I was always impressed by my students' bravery and they way they gracefully navigated difficult times and conversations. Remembering my time in the classroom gives me hope for the future of the world.
