Description

In 2023, the State of California introduced new legislation to provide grant funding in advance of projects to state grantees including community-based organizations, nonprofits, and small businesses. This new, equity-centered law allows small organizations to benefit from grant pools without having to wait for reimbursements for their projects. Join us for a conversation with Emi Wang, Director of Capacity Building at Greenlining Institute, to discuss the contents of the law, its impact on communities, and ways it can be replicated across the country.
