Here are a few points on how God uses divine connections:

1. He wants you to see things differently – change your perspective.
2. He wants to educate you. This matures who you are. This is the iron sharpens iron principle.
3. He wants to move you to the next phase of where He wants you.
4. He wants to increase your sphere of influence. Through this connection recognition happens. This recognition goes two ways.

Divine connections are not:

1. A steppingstone
2. Necessarily the answer to your need
3. A substitution for you doing your part, like an easy meal ticket.
