Once upon a time (or perhaps twice upon a time), I had one of my closest friends on the podcast to discuss all things Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, the sequel to the 2014 box office hit Maleficent, which itself was a retelling of the 1959 Disney animated classic Sleeping Beauty. While this sequel might not quite hold up to its predecessor, it's still a great movie as far as sequels go, and we are both looking forward to this being rounded out as a trilogy given that a third film has been announced.
