Hello Goddess, 

Today we are going to talk about "The Goddess doesn't compare herself". 

This podcast has been prompted by one of my clients, who actually suggested it based on something that she's going through herself, and this is the message she sent to me:

I recently learned about someone who's been engaged for four years, and she moved with him, just hanging out, waiting until they get married, washing his dirty underwear and warming up his bed. 

My sister followed her high school boyfriend to a college she didn't choose. When they graduated, he was dragging his feet about getting married. She had to threaten him and say, look, are we getting married or not? Even though they had talked about it. 

I'm shaking my head because he controls everything, including the money, even though he makes a lot of it. 

I know of other stories where women just hang around, make the first move, follow the man without commitment, worship the man, and then end up getting married. 

I'm not sure whether to blame her or him for being lazy and inviting women to audition to be their wives. I would never want this for myself. I always hold my standards and I'm always holding men up to their standard. 

Still, it gets difficult sometimes to watch this because while holding high standards, there is a part of me that whines; it's so unfair!!!

We have all been there. I know the rules work, and I will continue to do them. Still, I am tired of seeing these women auditioning to be wives, hanging around, acting like a wife with no commitment, and then getting married eventually. I know many of these marriages are unhappy and end up in divorce, but it's still difficult to watch whilst you are holding high standards. 

I have a feeling that this was easier to do back in the day instead of now when you see tons of women literally running after one man and the bachelor. 

It just gets to Me once in a while. I would love to hear your wisdom on a podcast about holding the rule standard, being the ultimate payoff to a happy life. Thanks.
