Because masculine energy is going to be all the time trying to get information from you so that he can use it to his advantage. Because he wants to get the girl, right? And that's not a bad thing.

But you need to protect yourself from that as well. Because not all masculine energy is good. You don't know this person yet at the beginning of the dating journey; you don't know this guy. You don't know what his intentions are. So the best strategy is to be mysterious and remain mysterious until his intentions have been revealed. 

We are pretty honest. We wear our hearts on our sleeves. We want to be authentic, right? There is this big word out there that we have to be authentic, and we have to be honest.

And especially if honesty is high up on your values, you want to be honest, and you feel like being mysterious is lying to the guy. But me being mysterious is just a matter of being smart, and it's a matter of protecting yourself.
