Al Jazeera ha publicado un documental sobre cómo los soldados israelíes utilizan las redes sociales para documentar el genocidio que están cometiendo. La película, titulada "Investigando crímenes de guerra en Gaza", contiene varios videos de redes sociales publicados por soldados israelíes en los que celebran y presumen por matar a civiles palestinos. Youmna ElSayed, una de las periodistas que trabajó en el proyecto, dijo durante una entrevista que los soldados israelíes saben que "ni siquiera van a ser condenados. (…) Están mostrando cuánto deshumanizan a los palestinos, cuánto matan. Destruyen sus propiedades. Los torturan y los deshumanizan de diferentes maneras, ya sean niños, hombres o mujeres. Se jactan de ello". Richard Sanders, el director de la película, dijo durante una entrevista: "En Occidente, existe (…) la retórica (…) de que 'es complicado', Escuche a los israelíes. No creen que sea complicado. Su retórica es a menudo abiertamente genocida. Sin duda, con frecuencia se trata de una limpieza étnica". Las acciones de Israel desde el 7 de octubre de 2023 han llegado a ser conocidas como "el primer genocidio transmitido en directo".

They torture them and dehumanize them in different ways, whether they're children, they're men, they're women. They brag about it." Richard Sanders, the director of the film, said during an interview, "In the West, there is (…) the rhetoric (…) of 'it's complicated." Listen to Israelis. They don't think it's complicated. Their rhetoric is often overtly genocidal. It's certainly frequently all about ethnic cleansing." Israel's actions since October 7th, 2023 have come to be known as "the first live-streamed genocide."
