Dean’s Chat host, Dr. Jeffrey Jensen, is joined by Brad Kidd, Jr., a Champion Sporting Clays Shooter and renowned Sporting Clays Coach! Brad is a past National Champion, a 20x Team USA member, and a 30x All-American.

In this episode, Dr. Jensen and Brad discuss the “Mindset of a Champion!” The discussion is pertinent to anyone with a desire to be the best they can be in a given occupation or sport. 

The 1st half of the discussion is about the “Mindset of a Champion”, and the 2nd half discusses sporting clays as a sport, the sporting clays community, the target presentations, and the mental game.  A guest appearance is made by Brad’s son, Miles, who is becoming a tremendous shooter and is winning trophies!

Brad believes that engaging in sports is an excellent practice for staying focused under pressure, as it requires athletes to concentrate and make split-second decisions. He also emphasizes that while reading about sports can provide some understanding, true comprehension comes from practicing and attempting the skills oneself. Brad underscores that this concept applies to various sports, emphasizing the significance of mental strength and focus in athletic endeavors.
