The rules of communication in friendship and relationships feel so complicated as adults. But when we look back to our first experiences with adversity, attachment styles and communication we find the rules are quite elementary and we've been practicing them with our peers since elementary school. My 9 year old daugher Kennedy shares her story about how she navigated "friendship issues," throughout the school year and what she learned from those experiences.
